How to remove the ceiling Cover for a Fluorescent Light? Many people call us and ask how to take out the ceiling light cover from the fixture to get the measurement. Well it all depends on what style of cover you have.
If it’s just a flat panel, parabolic louver or perhaps egg crate than most likely it’s Hinged fluorescent light ballast into the ceiling, you just need to learn how to close the cover correctly. Nowadays, they are simply with levers that lay flat when locked in place and you just pull down to open the door. If there is no door, it probably is where you slide the flat sheet sideways and remove it the same way.
